The black rifle crowd at a range can’t figure out how to turn the red dot on. These blocks duplicate the blocks provided on 1903 Springfield rifles. (Lyman and Unertl scopes will fit Fecker blocks, but Fecker scopes may not fit standard blocks).

Barrel Springfield Armory marked and dated 9/38 with large 5-point star on barrelbetween bands, signifying assembly at Philadelphia Naval Yard by U.S.M.C.
